Explora I, the first in a series of new cruise ships built for MSC Group's new luxury cruise brand Explora Journeys has passed its first United States Public Health inspection (USPH) with a perfect score. The inspection by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was conducted on January 25, 2024, during a call in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
This accomplishment is a remarkable achievement for both the company and its crew, underscoring their dedication to follow the highest standards of public health.

MSC Cruises' and AC Milan's partnership continues with a successful digital campaign, reaching 8 million views and over 1 million interactions in less than a week. MSC Cruises teamed up with AC Milan stars Leao, Pobega, and Musah, transforming them into cartoon characters. With three reels dedicated to each player, the social media campaign "The Milan Footballers' Vacation Home" was designed to enhance awareness and resonate with the preferences of a specific audience demographic. 

MSC Sinfonia Breaks Mooring and Damages Marina in Syracuse

Gale force winds of up to 50 knots broke the mooring lines of the cruise ship MSC Sinfonia while the vessel was anchored at the port of Syracuse, Italy. The incident occurred on Saturday, 6th January 2024, causing the giant cruise ship to collide with other boats moored at the Marina and one of the docks of the Foro Italico. With the collision, MSC Sinfonia is reported to have sunk two boats, and caused damage to other yachts, and to the marina.

MSC Cruises announce new itinerary for MSC Orchestra

MSC Cruises has announced changes to its upcoming winter cruise season aboard the MSC Orchestra. In response to the evolving Israel-Gaza conflict, the cruise line has introduced a new itinerary for the MSC Orchestra, replacing Red Sea routes that had to be canceled due to proximity to Israeli ports and restrictions in neighboring countries.
