Gastrointestinal illness on Costa Toscana

On December 17, 2024, the cruise ship Costa Toscana reported a few cases of gastrointestinal illness among passengers. 


In response to the reported cases, Costa Cruises implemented containment measures recommended by health authorities. 

These include:
•    Disinfection: The ship underwent meticulous sanitation procedures to reduce contamination risks.
•    Enhanced Hygiene Protocols: Stricter hygiene measures have been enforced to ensure safety.

Costa Cruises and Food Bank of Mallorca Unite to Fight Food Waste and Hunger

Cruises has teamed up with the Food Bank Foundation of Mallorca to provide support to those most in need on the island. Costa Cruises announced the grand opening of the new Crew Bar on Costa Fascinosa. The crew bar is a place where all crew members can relax and enjoy their free time after a hard day's work, and now the Costa Fascinosa crew can enjoy a completely new venue.

Last month, the ship celebrated the inaugural event, attended by the Master, Chief Engineer, the Crew Welfare Committee, and dedicated colleagues. This new space is designed to provide the hardworking crew with a place to unwind and socialize.

Costa Serena arrives in India

Costa Cruises officially launched its domestic cruise programme for Indian travelers with the arrival of the Costa Serena at its home port in Mumbai on Saturday. The Italian-flagged is poised to embark on a variety of sailings featuring 2, 3, and 5-night voyages departing from various ports, including Mumbai, Goa, Kochi, and the Island of Agatti in Lakshadweep. This enticing venture is scheduled to commence on November 4, 2023, and extend until January 11, 2024.
