Finally, after 10 years the Italian Republic will honor the late Costa Cruises crew member Giuseppe Girolamo, with the highest award for Civil Valor. The award honors Giuseppe’s act of exceptional courage that clearly manifest solidarity, recognizing his heroic act to save others during the Costa Concordia disaster.

Costa Cruises Captain Receives Bronze Medal of Merit for Rescue Operations Of The Burning Ship Kilic

Costa Cruises commander, Captain Pietro Sinisi was awarded with the Bronze Medal of Merit by Marina. The ceremony took place yesterday in Rome, at the General Command of the Port Authority Corps - Coast Guard, in the presence of the Commander General, Chief Inspector Admiral Nicola Carlone.

Carnival Cruise Line is teaming up with Costa Cruises to create a new concept for North American guests when n COSTA® by CARNIVAL® debuts in the spring of 2023 with Costa Venezia sailings from New York. The Costa Venice will be followed by the Costa Florence, which will arrive in the spring of 2024 to sail from Long Beach.

Costa Cruises Launches Eurovision Ad Campaign

After the success at the Sanremo Festival, Costa Cruises one of the six national sponsors of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, launched the Eliovision, an alternative 'festival' connected by international waters aboard Costa Toscana. Elio and Le Storie Tese organized the event by launching an appeal on social media to find the right location and receiving an invitation from Fabio Rovazzi.

Costa Luminosa crew member transferred to hospital after suffering a heart attack

A crew member of the cruise ship Costa Luminosa was medically evacuated at the port of Funchal yesterday evening after suffering a heart attack. Funchal Port Authority was informed by the ship’s Captain, after the vessel departed on April 25, requesting to return to port in order to disembark a crew member in need of urgent hospital treatment. 

Six arrested at the port of Santos attempting to board Costa Diadema with 30 Kg cocaine

Brazilian law enforcement agencies have arrested six drug smugglers and confiscated about 30 kilos of cocaine at the port of Santos. The drug traffickers, five Brazilians and one Argentinian national, were arrested at the terminal, attempting to board the cruise ship Costa Diadema as it was preparing for a Transatlantic cruise to Europe.
