A German passenger has died after falling from the cruise ship Costa Smeralda onto the dock at the port of Civitavecchia, according to reports by Italian media.

Crew Center received messages from several crew members confirming that their college, Daniel from Kenya, passed away in his cabin on the morning the ship arrived in Galveston, Texas on February 8.
