The newly established Crew Welfare Hub at Liverpool Cruise Terminal has wrapped up a highly successful summer season, providing essential support and services to thousands of cruise ship crew members.

Throughout the summer months, the terminal welcomed 97 vessels, bringing in a total of 55,575 crew members. These dedicated professionals worked tirelessly to ensure an unforgettable experience for passengers aboard their vessels.

A crew member from MSC Cruises has reached out to Crew Center to shed light on a growing concern regarding the company’s performance evaluation process. According to the crew member, who has worked with MSC for several years, the current system used to evaluate employees seems increasingly flawed and biased, causing frustration and delays for many hardworking individuals.

Global marine services provider Oceanic, through its SeaMed24 Medical Solutions, will offer support for seafarers by integrating VIKAND’s mental health training programs for maritime customers. This collaboration is part of Oceanic’s broader commitment to the overall wellbeing of crew members aboard the 2,300+ vessels it serves including merchant ships, cruise ships, and expedition vessels.

Crew Center recently received a letter from a former crew member who wanted to share his side of the story about a situation that ended with him losing his job. 
This crew member worked as a bartender on the cruise ship MSC Seaside, and thought of his team as family. They joked around, supported each other, and made their work environment feel like home. He worked closely with a waitress from the Philippines, and for two months, they had a good working relationship filled with jokes and mutual respect.

On a recent MSC Cruises voyage, newlyweds Yulia and Sergey made waves with a jaw-dropping request when they ordered everything on the menu for two people! 

The hilarious moment was caught on video and has taken the internet by storm.
