Costa Cruises has announced the evolution of its organizational structure through significant changes that will take effect on November 1, 2023. Roberto Alberti will assume the new role of Senior Vice President and Chief Corporate Officer, reporting directly to Mario Zanetti, President of Costa Cruises. In this new role, Alberti will oversee the functions of Finance, IT, Legal, Corporate Communication, and Government Relations.

Fugitive Arrested on Costa Smeralda

Matteo Romano, age 56, who had been on the run since 2018 after a conviction for drug trafficking and evasion, was apprehended during a family cruise. Romano, who had been living in Spain's Balearic Islands, had evaded authorities for years. Italian police received a tip that he was aboard the cruise ship Costa Smeralda departing from Palma de Mallorca.

Costa Serena Restarts Cruises in Asia

Costa Cruises has announced the much-anticipated return of Costa Serena to service in Asia. Following two successful cruises between Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, Costa Serena set sail today from the port of Busan in South Korea, with Nagasaki and Yatsushiro in Japan as its next destinations. Are There Limits on How Many Drinks You Get With Your Cruise Drink & Beverage Package?

The only cruise lines we know to have any limits on the number of drinks you can order are Carnival and Princess (which is owned by Carnival Corporation). They have a 15-drink limit on alcoholic beverages during the 24 hours from 6 am to 6 am. Non-alcoholic drinks aren't included in the 15-drink total.
