Lazar Milosavljevic from Celebrity Cruises, Claudio Santos Liborio from Seabourn Cruise Line and Marc McArthur from Norwegian Cruise Line will compete in the next round at the Diageo Bar 396 in Miami. This three crew members topped the competition from hundreds of bartenders representing all major cruise lines and only one will go on to Diageo Global Travel at the World Class Bartender of the Year finals which will be in Mexico City from 20-24 August 2017.

Police authorities in Belize arrested three Norwegian Cruise Line crew members last Tuesday, reports Channel 7News. According to the news article, 3 NCL employees were charged with drug trafficking of two kilos of cocaine which they smuggled into the cruise ship from Roatan, Honduras.

Brazilian woman, part of the MSC Musica crew was reported missing yesterday juts before the cruise ship arrived in the port of Brindisi, Italy. Her disappearance was reported by her colleagues after she didn’t show up on duty at around 3:00 A.M. They immediately went to check into her cabin and noticed that the woman was not there. The crew searched staff areas and later extended the search in the passenger areas.

A 47-year-old crewman of the cruise ship Star Flyer was injured in the head, while the vessel was at sea in the area of Kavala Bay, Greece. The injured crew member was transferred to the port of Kavala with lifeboat where an Ambulance transferred the patient to the General Hospital for monitoring and preventive examinations. A 34-year-old Filipino crew member of the cruise ship "Mein Schiff 5" was evacuated by the Spanish Coast Guard on Tuesday evening due to medical emergency. The vessel was 54 miles from Palma de Mallorca when the ship's officers notified port authorities that a crew member had a heart attack, and was in need of urgent transfer to a hospital for further medical care.
