Princess Cruises Wins Big for Its Wine Selection - Tops All Cruise Lines

Princess Cruises scored a major win for wine lovers at sea. The cruise line has received 16 Awards of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine as part of its 2025 Restaurant Awards, more than any other cruise line in the world.

The awards recognize every ship in the Princess fleet, including 15 main dining rooms and the new Sanctuary Collection restaurant on the Sun Princess. It’s a clear sign that Princess takes its wine seriously and that guests can expect top-quality pairings with their meals, no matter which ship they sail on.

Princess’s wine program offers over 250 wine labels from famous wine regions around the world. The collection includes options that are biodynamic, organic, vegan, and sustainably made. For something extra special, Princess also features the Love Lines Premium Liquors Collection, which includes wines created by celebrities like Taraji P. Henson, Jason Aldean, Romero Britto, and Kylie Minogue.

The Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence are given to restaurants and dining venues that offer carefully selected wine lists matched with great food. This year, just over 2,000 places worldwide received the honor — and Princess Cruises was the only cruise line to earn 16 awards across its fleet.

“As a cruise line, we want our wine lists to not only offer variety but also enhance the dining experience,” said Sami Kohen, Vice President of Food and Beverage at Princess Cruises. “This recognition means a lot, and we’re proud to bring great wine to guests as they explore the world with us.”
