Time Lapse Video of Icon of the Seas Construction
After more than seven years of dreaming and 900 days of design and construction by thousands of experts, Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland has completed the world's largest cruise ship, the Icon of the Seas. Icon of the Seas is 365 metres long and weighs 248,655 gt, with a capacity to accommodate 7,600 passengers as well as a crew of 2,350.

Luis Fonsi Christens NCL’s Latest Ship Norwegian Viva
In a glamorous ceremony at Port Miami on Tuesday, November 28, Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Luis Fonsi christened the Norwegian Viva, the latest addition to Norwegian Cruise Line's (NCL) fleet. The event included appearances by fellow musicians Pedro Capó and Paulina Rubio, as well as comedian Marcello Hernández from 'Saturday Night Live (SNL).'
