Fred. Olsen Partners with RWS Global to Upgrade Onboard Entertainment

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced a new partnership with entertainment giant RWS Global to enhance its onboard entertainment offerings across its fleet. The collaboration is set to bring a refreshed and dynamic shows and events to passengers beginning in 2026.

 

The initiative follows extensive feedback from guests, with Fred. Olsen aiming to align its entertainment options more closely with passenger expectations. The cruise line will debut its new daytime entertainment on its three cruise ships Bolette, Borealis, and Balmoral, starting February 2026, with full fleet-wide rollout expected by September of the same year.

 

The updated programme will feature a variety of themed events and production shows, covering genres such as musical theatre, rock, pop, disco, Latin, and country. Guests can also look forward to game shows, food and beverage experiences, and light entertainment that reflect Fred. Olsen’s traditional charm and personal touch.

RWS Global will serve as the full-service entertainment partner, responsible for designing and managing the guest experience onboard. Ryan Stana, Chairman and CEO of RWS Global, emphasized the partnership’s goal of blending tradition with innovation: “By leveraging our global resources, we’ll deliver more memorable moments and greater value for Fred. Olsen guests.”
