Today Dubai Harbour welcomed its first cruise ship the AIDAcosma from the German cruise line Aida, officially starting its 2022/23 cruise season. AIDAcosma will use Dubai as a homeport departing on 7-night Orinet voyages to Muscat, and Abu Dhabi. AIDAcosma is one of the largest cruise ships within the AIDA fleet and is a first-of-its-kind liquid natural gas (LNG) powered ship with a capacity of over 5,500 guests.
MSC Cruises celebrated the delivery of its 21st cruise ship MSC Seascape, at Fincantieri Monfalcone shipyard. The delivery of MSC Seascape comes just days after the naming ceremony of the biggest ship in the fleet, MSC World Europa.

Viking has taken delivery of the Viking Neptune, a 47,800 gross tonnage cruise ship, equipped with 465 cabins and a capacity of 930 passengers, at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona. The cruise ship is identical to Viking's other ocean liners, however, with one difference, Viking Neptune is equipped with a small hydrogen fuel system, making it the cruise industry's first ship to test the use of hydrogen power for on board operations.
