Norwegian Cruise Line presented its new Prima Class vessels, which have an impressive series of firsts not only for the brand but also for the entire cruise industry.

A cruise ship with an outbreak of COVID-19 among crew and passengers arrived in New South Wales today, as the state government announced a key change to its health policy.

Queensland Health said 118 people on the cruise ship Coral Princess had tested positive for the virus since it left Brisbane on Sunday. Of those cases, 114 were crew members and four were passengers.

Norwegian Cruise Line will no longer require guests to complete pre-cruise COVID-19 testing unless required by local regulations, effective August 1, 2022. The announcement covers NCLH three brands the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

A brawl has broken out on the Royal Caribbean ship Navigator of the Seas during the last week’s cruise. The fight between dozen of young passengers started at the Café Promenade on Deck 5. A video of the brawl shows a chaotic scene as people punch and push each other, while several security officers try to break up the fight. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like anyone sustained serious injuries from the incident.

Carnival Cruise Line has announced the two professionals that will be lead the fun activities on its upcoming Carnival Celebration set to be launched this fall.

Seabourn took delivery of its expedition ship, the Seabourn Venture, during an official handover ceremony at the shipyard T. Mariotti in Genoa. The Seabourn Venture is the company’s first of two ultra-luxury ships ordered from the Genoa shipyard and the first expedition ship in the entire sector.

The cruise ship Carnival Magic was escorted into port by the US Coast Guard after a brawl erupted in the ship’s night club which involved up to 60 people. On Tuesday morning New York Police boarded the ship to break up the nightclub brawl.
