The cruise ship Margaritaville at Sea Paradise has been cleared by the U.S. Coast Guard to sail, and its Certificate of Compliance renewed following some repairs.

The Port of Tarragona expects to receive 70,000 cruise passengers, 10,000 more than initially planned, thanks to the eight new scales of MSC Cruises, according to the Port Authority.

CLIA Brazil announced that eight cruise ships would serve the local market in the 2022-2023 season. Princess Cruises, the longest-running cruise line operating out of the Port of Los Angeles – is offering an all-new summer season of round-trip cruises from Los Angeles in 2023. This will be the line's first-ever summer season to Mexico, Hawaii, and the Coast of California, with Emerald Princess sailing on a series of voyages ranging from five to 16 days between May and August 2023.

New South Wales health statement said passengers who tested positive for COVID on the Coral Princess likely contracted the virus before they boarded the cruise ship.

Carnival Cruise Line's brand ambassador, John Heald, provided several updates on the various issues the cruise line has been dealing with in regard to staffing. He also provided an update on testing, Camp Ocean, and recent feuds between guests on Carnival cruises.

The former cruise ship AIDAcara renamed Astoria Grande, will set sail this month under a new owner, the Russian company Akvilon which bought the cruise liner in 2021, to launch cruise operations to Turkey.
