The Spanish cruise line Pullmantur announced today signing of a strategic partnership with the Colombian coffee maker Juan Valdéz. The alliance with Juan Valdez consists of a two-year contract in which the company will be the exclusive supplier of coffee in all Pullmantur cruise ships which will be served in all venues onboard.
A crew member of the cruise ship Aidablu was evacuated this morning, Monday, July 10, by the Italian Coast Guard. The 34-year-old German national, experienced severe abdominal pain when the ship was 56 nautical miles of San Benedetto del Tronto. The vessel was sailing from Venice, Italy to Corfu, Greece when the medical evacuation took place.

Hours before the christening ceremony of the latest Aida cruise ship Aida Perla, a man jumped off the vessel. The incident happened on Friday at around 6:30 a.m. while the vessel was docked in the Port of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The 24-year old male passenger who was traveling with his grandmother jumped off the ship without his clothes.
