TUI Cruises Reveals Top 3 Finalists for Mein Schiff Flow Godmother

TUI Cruises has announced the three finalists in its search for the godmother of its newest cruise ship, Mein Schiff Flow.

After weeks of public voting, which drew more than 24,000 votes, three standout candidates have emerged—each bringing a unique personal connection to the Mein Schiff brand and the sea.

Three Stories, One Shared Dream

The finalists—Julia, Karin, and Annabelle—were selected not only for their stories but also for the emotional connection they represent between guests and the Mein Schiff experience.

  • Julia traces her journey back to her first Mein Schiff cruise as a child. For her, the moment a ship leaves port symbolizes both a beginning and a sense of belonging—a feeling she associates deeply with life at sea.

  • Karin describes Mein Schiff as a “second home,” shaped by years of travel with her family. Among her most memorable moments was attending the christening of Mein Schiff 7, an experience that strengthened her bond with the brand.

  • Annabelle sees the sea as more than a destination—it’s a lifestyle. Through her travels, she has built lasting friendships and even found love onboard, with each voyage adding a new chapter to her story.

The final selection will determine who will officially become the godmother of Mein Schiff Flow in 2026. The winner will take part in the ship’s inaugural christening voyage starting June 17, culminating in the official naming ceremony on June 20.

The chosen godmother will sail in a Junior Suite with a guest, including flights, and play a central role in the ceremony—one of the most symbolic traditions in the cruise industry.

Meanwhile, the two runners-up will also be rewarded with a seven-night welcome cruise aboard Mein Schiff Flow, sailing from June 26 to July 3, in a balcony cabin with flights included.
