Cuban man waving US flag in Havana was arrested yesterday during historic arrival of the American cruise ship Adonia operated by Carnivals, Fathom Cruises. ABC Action News reporter interweaved Daniel Miranda, who said that he has no fear of Castro regime and he wants to lead new kind of revolution. 

Minutes after Miranda was confronted by group of locals who didn’t agree with his speech and the waving of US flag in Cuba, police intervened and arrested him.

The 'Real Housewives' Star Dorinda Medley, took time to enjoy some R&R with her longtime love John Mahdessian on Royal Caribbean cruise ship Anthem of the Seas. The couple decided to set sail to a Caribbean getaway cruise departing from New York concrete jungle. She was spotted riding bumper cars in SeaPlex, lounging poolside in the ship’s adults-only Solarium, pampering in ‎VitalitySpa‬ and enjoying all amenities on board.

Dorinda Medley posted couple of videos and photos on her facebook profile, saying she is amazed of the crew members and what ship has to offer.

A cruise ship has cancelled arrival to Newcastle, Australia scheduled for next weekend, due to climate change protest organized by 350.org.Oceania Officials said they will skip Newcastle port on Sunday October 17th, because of safety cancers for ships passengers and crew. The Port of Newcastle said that decision to cancel the arrival is "a matter for the cruise line".

Three tourists were injured in Cozumel, Mexico on Thursday when they crushed in a tree with their buggy. According to Cozumel police report, the accident happened at 12:15 p.m. when emergency services were called to the scene where three people were injured inside a buggy. All three were a passengers of Carnival cruise ship, Carnival Paradise. Police says the crush occurred after the driver lost control of the buggy while taking a corner traveling at a high speed.

The News Station WFTV reported that two Royal Caribbean crew members were arrested in in Port Canaveral on April 24, for smuggling drugs.

Four cruisers will enter Navantia shipyards in Cadiz, Spain, for a scheduled maintenance and refurbishment. These repairs will ensure a "significant workload" and generate additional employment in the city of Cadiz. One of the cruise ships currently under maintenance is Mein Schiff 3.

Massive wave hit Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Rhapsody of the Seas, damaging ships portholes on deck 3 and causing flood in section of the ships interior. The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. yesterday while the ship was sailing to Corsica . Cruise Law News reported about this incident and several passengers posted on twitter saying that there were 60 cabins flooded on deck 3 and water spilled into the hallway.

On Thursday, April, 21, 2016, the cruise ship Disney Fantasy Rescued Three Cuban refugees after their boat capsized 40 miles north of Cuba. Ship’s captain notified the U.S Coast Guard and they received medical treatment on board. At first it was believed that they were refugees trying to flee Cuba and enter USA. However, after US officials identified the Cubans found out that they were trying to escape from United States and enter Cuba. US Marshals say that they were fleeing the United States where they were wanted for credit card fraud 

Splendour of the Seas arrived today 20, April in Venice, finishing its final voyage under the flag of Royal Caribbean. Twenty years after its maiden voyage in March 1996 the cruise ship will join Thomson Cruises fleet after extensive dry-dock refurbishment. Splendour of the Seas will be renamed to TUI Discovery, setting sail on 11, June 2016, offering Mediterranean cruises from Palma De Mallorca.

In the coming years Thomson will also add to its fleet the cruise ships Mein Schiff 1 & 2 dramatically increasing its capacity and its services.
