AIDA Cruises Donation to SOS Children's Village in the Philippines

The German cruise line AIDA has presented a check to the SOS Children's Village Iloilo in the southeast Philippine island of Panay. The donation was made possible by the proceeds from the onboard sales of the book "Kreativ - fold the most beautiful towel animals", in which the cruise operator gathers ideas for artfully folded animals. 

Celebrity Eclipse Earns Perfect 100 U.S.P.H. Points

In a recent U.S.P.H. inspection conducted on November 26, 2017, Celebrity Cruises ship, Celebrity Eclipse earned perfect 100 points. The 122,000-ton cruise ship was returning from a Caribbean voyage to its homeport Miami, Florida when the unannounced inspection was conducted. CDC inspectors boarded the Eclipse and after several hours the cruise ship received a perfect score of 100 points with compliments to all crew for their amazing and hard work.

Is Sambal Forbidden on MSC Cruise Ships?

I have received a message from MSC Cruises crew member saying that the onboard security officers are confiscating the sauce SAMBAL from the Indonesian crew. Allegedly the sign-on crew which has brought sambal from back home are not allowed to bring it on the ship and security takes the sauce. Now you will say it’s not a big deal and why bother to write about it. Well, that’s not all.
