TUI Cruises announced today that the Mein Schiff 6 voyages from Greece have been canceled. The decision comes after the Greek government ordered a state lockdown with curfews for a period of three weeks starting November 6th. TUI Cruises was able to secure a special permit for one more cruise starting November 8th, 2020, however, the upcoming voyage will be only a panoramic sailing.
Today the cruise ship Mein Schiff 2 arrived at the port of Las Palmas with 740 crew members onboard for the final preparations before the start of the winter cruise season in the Canary Islands.
