MSC Crew Member Rescues Passenger After Jumping Off a Cruise Ship

MSC Cruises crew member rescued a woman after she went overboard from the cruise ship MSC Seaview while the vessel was docked at the port of Genoa, Italy. The incident happen on Monday, June 17, 2019, at around 10 pm when a 43-year-old Irish woman jumped from one of the decks into the sea after a fight with her husband. 

Pregnant Crew Member Airlifted From MSC Cruise Ship

The Spanish search and rescue agency Salvamento Maritimo performed a remarkable evacuation of a Brazilian woman who was in labor on a cruise ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. After experiencing contractions and almost giving birth on board MCS Seaview the woman was airlifted from the vessel some 400 miles of the coast of Gran Canaria on Monday, April 8, 2019.

Passenger Dies Onboard MSC Splendida

An elderly passenger has died onboard the cruise ship MSC Splendida while the vessel was in Sir Bani Yas, United Arab Emirates on April 02, 2019. According to a passenger sailing on Splendid, the man died during dinner presumably of a heart attack. Revival was attempted by the crew, and emergency personnel came to transfer him to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

MSC Divina Crew Not Allowed To Disembark In New York Because Of Cruise Ship Deserter

MSC Divina crew member has contacted Crew Center saying that no one from the ship’s onboard personnel was allowed to go ashore when the vessel docked in New York on March 17. The reason for this decision by the captain is because one crew member failed to report back to the ship while Divina was docked in Miami on March 14. According to our source, the crew member who didn’t return to the ship was Indian national working as a Pool boy. 

MSC Cruise Ships Collide in Buenos Aires

Two MSC sister ships collided at the Port of Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 20, 2019. The accident happened when the cruise liner MSC Orchestra lost control while maneuvering in the port and started drifting towards MSC Poesia which was moored at that time at the south dock. With a local pilot onboard and assistance from two tug boats, MSC Orchestra still managed to collide sustaining minor damage on the starboard side.

13 Crew Members With Suspected Rubella Virus On MSC Seaview

The cruise ship MSC Seaview arrived this morning in the Port of Santos, Brazil with 13 crew members suspected of having a rubella virus. The information was confirmed by the Brazil National Sanitary Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) and by the Health Department of Santos. A medical team of three doctors and six nurses boarded the cruise ship to assist the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency in the investigation and to collect samples from the patients.
