Submitted by kgnadmin on

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Abdulatif Zagoub, a crew member of Silversea Cruises. The 32-year-old Tunisian national passed away in a hospital in Chile after he was disembarked from the cruise ship Silver Wind due to a medical emergency. After admission to the intensive care unit on February 25th, the clinic informed the company and his family of his passing.

Abdulatif worked as a Service Assistant (Assistant Waiter), and this was his third contract with the company. All crew members who knew him are shocked and cannot believe that this has happened to such a young man.

According to a family member, Abdulatif died after suffering a brain hemorrhage - bleeding in the brain.

Abdulatif was a young man with a big heart who was always cheerful and willing to help anyone. He loved his job serving people and put his heart into it. He was a good friend, somebody you could trust and rely on.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. Abdulatif Zagoub will be deeply missed.
