The Public Prosecutor's Office in charge of the islands of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba, requested 22 years in prison for the killer of the Royal Caribbean crew member Adriana Morales de Florencio. Public Prosecutor has proved that Raysley S. is the executor of the murder of the 23-year-old woman from Puebla (Mexico) that happen in April, 2017 on the island of Bonaire.
Adriana was reported missing after she disembarked to buy a souvenir, and didn’t go back onboard Navigator of the Seas on April 20, 2017. Royal Caribbean has notified the local authorities which have conducted a search operation. Bonaire police engaged 25 detectives, and FBI detective from Miami branch also flew down to the island to help with the search. Ten days after her reported disappearance Adriana’s remains were found buried on a ranch near the coast of Playa Grande.
After reviewing the CCTV cameras from the local stores, police have spotted Adriana walking alongside with a local man on the day she went missing. The suspect has somehow managed to attract her to his car. The man was interrogated and the same night a search was made into his house where police found a gun. The suspect was arrested for violating the Firearms Law. Later on April 29, police made a search in an area near the town of Rincon where the suspect was frequently seen, and there the authorities found the remains of Adriana Morales.

According to the prosecutor, the suspect was the one who killed Adriana by stabbing her multiple times with a knife and then buried her to hide the body states BES Reporter. He wanted to have sex with her, but Adriana confronted him, after which he killed her. After he left Adriana in cold blood in a wheelbarrow and left. He waited until the night to bury the body and to erase his tracks. According to the Public Ministry, there are several aggravating circumstances due to the fact that Adriana died in very violent and brutal way. Raysley S. killed her with knife stabbing, and left her "like old dirt in a wheelbarrow," to the prosecutor said. The sentence by Kralendijk court of law will be issued on January 31, 2018.
The death of Adriana is a painful and irreversible loss of her loved ones and her coworkers. We, as crew members empathize with the loss, hardship, pain and the sorrow of all who knew her. Rest in Peace Adriana.
