More Than 400 Indonesian Crew to Join Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean Group has strengthened its shipboard workforce by recruiting more than 400 new hires in Indonesia, highlighting the company's continued interest in attracting talent from one of the world's leading seafaring nations.

Working in partnership with recruitment agency PT Equinox, Royal Caribbean Group's Global Talent Attraction team conducted hiring activities in Jakarta and Bali, focusing on filling a variety of key shipboard positions across its fleet.

The recruitment campaign not only provided employment opportunities for hundreds of candidates but also gave Royal Caribbean representatives an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into recruitment operations in Indonesia. Team members visited local facilities and learned more about the processes that help prepare candidates for careers at sea.

During the visit, the talent acquisition team also met with Indonesian crew members who have advanced through the ranks to leadership positions within the company. Their career journeys served as examples of the growth opportunities available to employees who pursue long-term careers with Royal Caribbean Group.

Indonesia remains one of the cruise industry's most important sources of shipboard talent, supplying thousands of hospitality, culinary, housekeeping, technical, and entertainment professionals to cruise ships around the world. Many Indonesian crew members have built successful careers at sea, progressing from entry-level positions to supervisory and management roles.

Royal Caribbean Group described the recruitment effort as a reflection of the value of strong partnerships and the importance of attracting world-class talent to support the company's operations and guest experience.
