Carnival Cruise Line Employees Participate in International Coastal Cleanup Day

Job well done by several hundreds of Carnival crew members and shore side employees who participated in the International Coastal Cleanup Day. On September 19, they did their part to help environment by cleaning the coast and beaches in different seaside locations from Europe, Florida and the Caribbean to Central America. Carnival Cruise line employees give a great example of the line’s ongoing commitment for environmental protection and preservation.

New Guinness World Record for Selfies Set on Carnival Cruise Ship

Its official, Donnie Wahlberg is the new Guinness world record holder for most selfies taken in three minutes. The new record was set last week on board the cruise ship Carnival Triumph during the eight annual New Kids on the Block cruise. The fans gathered around the ships open deck forming long line in order to take a selfie with the actor and singer.

Carnival Liberty experiencing technical issues

Due to technical issues Carnival Liberty arrival at the port of Galveston, Texas was delayed for 10 hours. Carnival Liberty was on 4 Night Western Caribbean voyage, setting sail from Galveston, Texas on October 27, to Cozumel, and was expected to arrive in Galveston, Texas today, October 31 at 8 a.m. Instead Liberty will dock in Galveston at 4:30 p.m. and will start the embarkation from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Carnival Corporation Enhances Security Screening with INTERPOL I-Checkit system

After three months trial period on four Princess Cruises ships, Carnival Corporation received approval to integrate passenger check-in process with INTERPOL data system. The integrated system I-Checkit, will be incorporated on all Carnival brands, providing secure method for screening travel document on all passengers to INTERPOL's Stolen and Lost Travel Documents database.
