Celebrity Cruises plans to invest $400m into modernizing its entire fleet by the end of 2023. The largest investment project the brand has ever made is named the 'Celebrity Revolution.' All 9 cruise ships currently in the fleet will be getting some features inspired by the newbuild Celebrity Edge, coming by the end of 2018.
Costa Cruises and the superstar Shakira presented the official start of the donation project “Building Happiness” for construction of a school in Colombia. The project by the Pies Descalzos Foundation aims to help disadvantaged families and children in Colombia by providing access to quality education.

In the video captain of the cruise ship MSC Divina Pier Paolo Scala, explains what the challenges are during the docking of a large vessel. “It is very, very quick maneuver there, and we need to watch for the stern when we turn, that we are completely clear as we enter the starboard side.” Says Captain Scala.

Azamara Club Cruises announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the P&O cruise ship Adonia. The vessel is a sister ship to Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, belonging to the same “R Class” ships of the former cruise company Renaissance. The new addition of Azamara fleet will be named “Azamara Pursuit” joining the cruise line March 2018.

Colombian coffee will now sail through the America, Europe, and the Caribbean thanks to Pullmantur and Juan Valdéz. The Spanish cruise line Pullmantur announced today signing of a strategic partnership with the Colombian coffee maker Juan Valdéz. The alliance with Juan Valdez consists of a two-year contract in which the company will be the exclusive supplier of coffee in all Pullmantur cruise ships which will be served in all venues onboard.
Queen Mary 2 has arrived in the Big Apple on Friday morning. Cunard’s flagship ocean liner arrived in Brooklyn Cruise terminal after taking part in a transatlantic ocean race. Finishing first Queen Mary 2 has triumphed in the regatta after sailing 5,837 kilometers.
