This would be a complimentary service and all of the bar stewards that are involved would work for the next hour for free because earning money in Princess Cruises as Bar steward was from the sale of the drink on every check 15% would be our part of earning money for that Cruise segment.

I would like to tell you a story of what happened to me and how I lost my job because of what happened just 19 days before finishing my contract. I am still confused, ashamed and furious how all of this happened.

Working in a galley as a woman

It’s not a cloudless world for people going to work at sea. Ship life is definitely not as easy as it seems to be. I would like to talk about my experience as a woman after I signed a contract with a reputable British cruise line. I was employed as a “Demi Chef de Partie” in the pastry section, to be a part of the galley team. Until I came onboard a cruise ship, this world was totally unknown to me. Galley.
