A member of the forum Cruise Critic , quotes Captain Dimas Manrique , who is considered one of the best captains of the Royal Caribbean fleet who in public announcement described the situation as follows:
"On Monday night, the bow and stern of the Rhapsody of the Seas were raised simultaneously by two long waves, so that the central part of the ship found itself under great pressure.
Several portholes, in about 5 cabins, were broken by water that flooded deck 3, damaging the cabins of Deck 3 and 2.
Seven passengers were slightly injured in the accident, and were treated on board and are doing well"
Woke up at 4:30 am on our cruise first night when 5 windows on our floor burst open flooding the floor with sea water. All well, but tired

(4) Rhapsody of the Seas continues to Naples. Damage caused by stress fracture during tilt, combined with wave. thus ceiling & wall damage.
