MSC Cruises announced a new partnership with Roy Yamaguchi, renowned pioneer chef of Asian and international fusion food.
The innovative Japanese-American chef will bring his unique fusion of culinary traditions to MSC Cruises new generation ships of the MSC Seaside class. The latest announcement demonstrates the continued commitment of MSC Cruises with international cuisine and adds a new alliance to existing partnerships with renowned and award - winning chefs Carlo Cracco, Jean-Phillippe Maury and Jereme Lung.

Chef Yamaguchi will have its dedicated presence and specialty restaurant aboard the MSC Seaside, the boat of the new generation of MSC Cruises currently under construction, one of the ship’s most innovative and revolutionary - which comes into service in December 2017 and will sail year - round from Miami to the Caribbean.
As part of the partnership, the chef Yamaguchi will be personally involved in conceptualizing and designing each element of the new Asian fusion restaurant food, offering his talent and vision in every detail to the guest experience.
Chef Yamaguchi is culinary visionary and creator of Hawaiian fusion food, Yamaguchi intertwines his Japanese heritage with his love for the fresh ingredients. Founder of 30 Roy's Restaurants, 28 in the United States and one in Guam. Among the numerous awards he received is the prestigious "James Beard Award". In addition, Yamaguchi was host of the six seasons of the TV show "Hawaii best kitchen with Roy Yamaguchi" which was broadcasted in 60 countries.
