Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), has announced strategic leadership changes to lead the growth of its premium cruise brands, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Effective February 17, 2025, industry veteran Jason Montague will assume the role of Chief Luxury Officer, overseeing both brands as part of NCLH’s "Charting the Course" strategy.

Montague, a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, is tasked with executing a multi-billion-dollar investment plan. This includes the addition of five new ships across the two brands by 2029 and comprehensive renovations of nearly all existing vessels. Oceania Cruises will welcome three newbuilds, starting with Allura in 2025, and refurbish Marina and Riviera in 2026 and 2027. Regent Seven Seas Cruises will add two luxury ships and upgrade Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

Montague expressed his enthusiasm for the role, highlighting the opportunity to shape the future of luxury cruising. “These are exciting times for both brands, and I am honored to lead such dedicated teams in delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests,” he said.

Harry Sommer, President and CEO of NCLH, emphasized Montague’s unique qualifications: “Jason’s deep industry expertise, financial acumen, and passion for these brands make him the ideal leader to advance our vision for upscale travel.”

Andrea DeMarco, the current president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, will transition out of her role in March 2025 after contributing to the brand’s recent successes and setting a strong foundation for future growth.
