A Brazilian man went missing in Gibraltar on Saturday, November 5, after disembarking from the cruise ship Mein Schiff Herz. The missing person has been identified as Mateus Rodrigues Muniz Da Silva, a 27-year-old Brazilian national.
The Royal Gibraltar Police issued an alert seeking the public’s help in locating Mateus who was last seen on Saturday, just after 11 am disembarking the ship at the port of Gibraltar. Authorities released the following image of Mateus saying that there is no description of the clothes he was wearing at the time. The police didn't mention if he was a crew member or sailing as a guest on board the ship. The Mein Schiff Herz had to leave the port without him on Saturday at 3 pm.
The Mein Schiff Herz is currently sailing on a 7-day cruise from Malaga to Tenerife. After visiting Gibraltar the ship's next stops are scheduled in Agadir, Morocco, Arrecife, Canary Islands, and Tenerife, Canary Islands.
