Disney Cruise Line will expand its list of island destinations with the addition of the all-new Lighthouse Point on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. The new island destination will be open in summer 2024, offering guests a unique celebration of Bahamian culture with the quality and service of a Disney vacation. The new destination is being created in collaboration with local artists and advisors, and is focused on sustainable development with at least 90% of the destination's electricity being powered by an onsite solar array.
Lighthouse Point offers a range of activities for guests to enjoy, including an expansive family beach, a Bahamian art and culture pavilion, an interactive water play area, and additional activities such as gaming, volleyball, watercraft and bicycle rentals, and nature trails for hiking. For adult guests, there is an exclusive beach with a dining area and private cabanas available for reservation. For children, there is a themed kids' club with trained Disney Cruise Line counselors, a splash pad inspired by The Little Mermaid characters, and a dedicated dining area.

The development of Lighthouse Point is focused on low-density, sustainable designs that protect and preserve the environment while accentuating the island's natural beauty. With Lighthouse Point, visitors from around the world will experience the magic of The Bahamas in a new way, celebrating its cultural and natural beauty.
