P&O Cruises cancels all voyages until early 2021

The British cruise line P&O Cruises, part of Carnival Corporation & plc has announced today that the company is cancelling all sailings until early 2021. All Caribbean cruises on board the P&O ships are cancelled until the end of January 2021, and all cruises from and to Southampton are cancelled through February as well as Arcadia and Aurora, which have already been cancelled through to the end of their spring world cruises.

Carnival Imagination Heading For The Scrapyard?

After Carnival Corporation announced on July 29, that the company will be disposing additional two ships as part of non-cash impairment charge, it would appear that the next ship heading for scrapyard might be Carnival Imagination. According to the ship-tracking website Marine Traffic, Carnival Imagination’s reported destination is now set to the Turkish port of Aliaga with an estimated arrival at the scrapyard on 10th September.

Carnival Legend responds to call for help from stranded catamaran in Bahamas

The cruise ship Carnival Legend responded to a call for help from a catamaran that had run out of fuel off the coast of Bahamas. Carnival Legend delivered 25 gallons of fuel to the boat crew in order to make its way back to Jacksonville, Florida. John Heald, Carnival Cruise Line’s brand ambassador, shared Carnival Legend crew response to the call for help on his Facebook page.
