Hours before the christening ceremony of the latest Aida cruise ship Aida Perla, a man jumped off the vessel. The incident happened on Friday at around 6:30 a.m. while the vessel was docked in the Port of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The 24-year old male passenger who was traveling with his grandmother jumped off the ship without his clothes. Most of the guest were awakened by the announcement "man overboard". Lucky for him the vessel was in the port otherwise if it was at sea there is small chance he would ever be found. Shortly after a pilot boat had taken him out of the water. On the video, you can see how the man once on the boat cheered and saluted to passengers on Aida Perla.

Aida press office confirmed the incident. The 24-year-old was subsequently was taken to the hospital and will be charged for his actions and indecent exposure.
