Princess Cruises marked a new milestone with the arrival of Sky Princess, the line’s first Royal-Class ship to homeport in Port Canaveral. The 3,660-guest vessel docked at Cruise Terminal 6 on November 30, starting the Caribbean season, running through March 2026.
The ship is also scheduled to return for a second season from November 2026 to March 2027, with all voyages now open for booking. Port Canaveral’s accessibility for drivers, air travelers, and Brightline’s Rail & Sail program continues to be a key draw for Princess guests.
Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer Jim Berra said the company is pleased to expand its presence in Central Florida. “Our guests appreciate the convenience of cruising from Central Florida, and with the addition of Sky Princess, we're pleased to offer even greater capacity,” he said.
Sky Princess itineraries can be combined into longer 14-day voyages visiting destinations such as Turks & Caicos, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Amber Cove.
Port Canaveral CEO Capt. John Murray welcomed the deployment, saying the ship is a strong addition to the port’s lineup and that the Port looks forward to supporting Sky Princess guests throughout the season.
The 141,000-ton Royal-Class ship features Princess’ signature dining, entertainment, and modern accommodations designed for contemporary travelers.
