Aroya Cruise will resume its Red Sea journeys this May, bringing renewed activity to Jeddah and strengthening its role as a key maritime tourism hub in Saudi Arabia.
The company confirmed that its ship, Aroya, is currently heading to its home port in Jeddah ahead of the official launch on May 14. Once it arrives, it will begin operating a range of cruises lasting between three and five nights. These trips will connect passengers to nearby destinations, including Yanbu, Sharm El Sheikh, and Aqaba.
The focus this season is on shorter, more flexible travel options. Many travelers prefer quick escapes that still offer variety, and these itineraries are built with that in mind. Guests can explore multiple destinations without committing to a long voyage, making cruise travel easier to fit into busy schedules.
A special five-night cruise will take place during the Eid al-Adha holiday, combining stops in Sharm El Sheikh and Aqaba.
In addition to its Red Sea program, Aroya Cruise is preparing for its second Mediterranean season, scheduled from June to mid-September 2026. These cruises will depart from Galata Port in Istanbul and follow seven-night routes with stops in Turkey, the Greek islands, and Alexandria, offering a longer and more immersive travel option.
Aroya Cruise President Sture Myrmell said that travelers are increasingly interested in trips that combine flexibility with cultural depth. He noted the company’s focus on creating experiences inspired by Arab culture while meeting the expectations of different age groups. He also expressed enthusiasm about welcoming passengers aboard the Red Sea cruises before the Mediterranean season begins.
