Yes, part of the crew members, usually Pinoy or Indonesian, who have excellent hairstyling skills and like to make extra money do their magic. Unlike cruise ship passengers who are pampered in the Spa, the crew usually cut their hair in the makeshift barbershops. The price is 5 to 10 dollars so it’s much affordable then cutting hair in the Spa, where price for crew is 20 dollars.

The heart and soul of any cruise ship's culinary operations, the Main Galley, orchestrates a symphony of meals from breakfast to dinner and even the famous midnight buffet. In 2009 he recorded his first song, and today with the album “The Dream has began” he spreads positive vibes not only in the Caribbean but also on Norwegian Cruise Line ships.

On board guests can now enjoy state-of-the-art  flight simulator while sailing on a cruise ship. The largest flight simulator experience operator IFlight in partnership with TUI Cruises will install the world’s first flight simulator on the German cruise ship Mein Schiff 1. The cooperation between Europe's most successful chain of professional flight simulators and TUI Cruises will begin on September 24th 2016.

Job well done by several hundreds of Carnival crew members and shore side employees who participated in the International Coastal Cleanup Day. On September 19, they did their part to help environment by cleaning the coast and beaches in different seaside locations from Europe, Florida and the Caribbean to Central America. Looking for ways to rise more money, the City Council of Colon decided to implement $10 tax for each person landing by Cruise Ship. This controversial tax passed on June 19, 2016 raised the alarm by the Maritime Chamber of Panama, saying that this will affect the cruise ships coming in this port, and directing their vessels in other ports.

Back in 1991 Carnival Cruise Line introduced its latest cruise ship Carnival Ecstasy. With the new ship came the new uniforms for the dining room waiters and assistant waiters.
