Princess Cruises today announced that it has suspended calls to Saint Petersburg, Russia. The cruise company said that the health and safety of passengers and crew is top priority, therefore cancelled all calls to St Petersburg from the end of April until September 2022.
There were planned stops for three Princess cruise ships for the 2022 Baltic Sea sailings, including Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, Island Princess, all of which will be dropping Russia from their summer itineraries.
“In light of the recent attacks by Russia in Ukraine, we have modified itineraries on 24 cruises that call in St. Petersburg with alternative ports. We appreciate your patience as we took the time to confirm replacement ports, as the safety and security of our guests and teammates is our highest priority. Guests of impacted voyages will be contacted directly. Today and always, we stand for peace.” Princess Cruises said.
