Norwegian Cruise Line will reduce cleaning services in guest staterooms aboard all of its ships in 2023. According to a letter sent to crew, the company will adjust the current daily stateroom (turn-down) service provided to guests in all categories below a Suite level. Guests staying in Studio, Inside, Oceanview, Balcony, and Club Balcony Suite will receive once-daily stateroom service.

Effective January 1, 2023, Andrea DeMarco, current Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, will serve as President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Frank A. Del Rio, current Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Oceania Cruises, will serve as President of Oceania Cruises, succeeding Howard Sherman.
Two German cruise passengers were attacked in a violent robbery while sightseeing in Recife, Brazil, where their ship had docked. One of the passengers was stabbed in the head during the incident and was taken to a local hospital, G1 Globo reports.
On December 6, 2022, Norwegian Cruise Line announced the increase of daily services charges, which provide gratuities to key onboard crew members. Surprisingly most of them said that masks are now optional and not a requirement in all crew and guest areas.
