Guinness World Records has partnered with MSC Cruises to offer guests an exciting and record-breaking adventure at sea.

The cruise ship MSC Meraviglia made an emergency stop at the port of Miami to medevac a passenger in need of urgent medical assistance. The ship was at MSC Cruises Private Island Ocean Cay in the Bahamas when the captain announced on the PA system that they needed to depart to Miami in order for the Coast Guard to perform a medical evacuation.

A cruise ship crew member has been fired for allegedly filming a woman from a restroom cubicle. The incident occurred on the MSC Meraviglia, where a passenger named Saja reported that a man had locked himself in a public toilet stall and appeared to be recording her with a camera. Saja shared a video of the incident on TikTok. In the video, several women can be seen confronting the man wearing an MSC employee uniform.

Starting February 27, MSC Cruises will increase the prices of its onboard beverage packages and, at the same time, expand the offer of the included drinks. Additionally, the automatic service charge for drink orders without a package will increase from 15 to 18 percent on ships using the USD currency.

The MSC Group and the MSC Foundation have organized urgent aid and accommodation to support the population in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Türkiye and Syria in close coordination with national authorities.

Sometimes I felt like being on the edge of a cliff. When am I going to see my family again? How could my managers on board the ship be unfair? 

On top of all those concerns, some unpleasant guests are among my regular daily challenges. However, no matter how hard it was, I always kept in mind that the darkest hour of the night always comes just before dawn.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of losing yet another dear friend who departed way too soon. Gene Moimoi Young was a cruise director on many MSC Cruises ships, but most of all, he was an outstanding person full of positive energy that he spread among all he met. His passing is something that we are struggling to come to terms with. He passed away unexpectedly in Miami, Florida.

The coin ceremony for EXPLORA II, the second of six ships planned by MSC Group's cruise division for its luxury brand EXPLORA Journeys, took place at the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente, near the Italian city of Genoa.

MSC Cruises and the professional football club AC Monza, have announced a partnership for the season 2022/2023. The cruise line will be main partner of the Brianza team: starting from Monza-Sampdoria this evening, the MSC Cruises logo will be present on the sideline LEDs during the home matches and on the backdrops in the conference room, flash zone, and mixed zone.
