MSC World America to Leave Shipyard on March 27

The MSC World America will leave Saint-Nazaire, France, on March 27, heading for Miami, Florida, MSC Cruises confirmed. The ship, capable of carrying 6,774 passengers across 22 decks, is part of MSC’s new LNG-powered World Class series.


Before departure, MSC World America will undergo final sea trials from February 13 to 15 with Captain Dino Sagani at the helm. The ship will then sail to Miami where chrsitening ceremony will take place April 9, before launching Caribbean cruises on April 12, with stops in Mexico, Honduras, and MSC’s private island in the Bahamas.


Featuring 13 restaurants, 20 bars, six pools, and a towering 11-deck slide, the ship also introduces The Harbour, an outdoor leisure area with a swing 50 meters above the ocean.


Meanwhile, MSC Cruises continues work on its next vessel, MSC World Asia, set for delivery in 2026.
