MSC Cruises and Formula 1® achieved a new milestone, coming together to celebrate the first-ever Grand Prix with MSC Cruises as the prestigious event's title sponsor. The much-anticipated FORMULA 1® MSC CRUISES BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 took place at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium from 28th to 30th July 2023, marking an exciting chapter in the partnership between two world-class brands.
MSC Cruises, the world's fastest-growing cruise brands, has been a Global Partner of Formula 1® for some time, and its status as the title sponsor for this momentous event showcased the brand's global reach and commitment to excellence. The collaboration brought a new level of excitement to the race, enhancing the experience for motorsports enthusiasts and MSC Cruises guests alike.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the collaboration was the co-designing of the winning Driver and Constructor trophies by MSC Cruises, making them unique to the brand and this special event. Gianni Onorato, the CEO of MSC Cruises, played an integral role in the podium ceremony, where the MSC Cruises trophy was presented to the winners. He expressed his honor at being part of this momentous occasion, acknowledging the hard work and teamwork behind the drivers' success.

Looking ahead, MSC Cruises has exciting plans to position ships alongside races at select Grand Prix™ weekends, offering a unique hospitality experience from the ship to the racetrack. The inaugural event weekend will take place in Abu Dhabi in November 2023, coinciding with the final race of the season, with further races planned for 2024. MSC Virtuosa, one of MSC Cruises' magnificent vessels, will be docked, providing motorsport fans with world-class accommodation, unparalleled hospitality, and convenient transport, including VIP packages to ensure an unforgettable race weekend. This offering will extend to other destinations and other MSC Cruises ships, starting in the 2024 season.
