Meyer Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany handed over the second new building cruise ship to the Asian shipping company Dream Cruises. The vessel is named World Dream and has a capacity of over 3,376 passengers. The Asian clients of the shipping company will be pleased that the new building carries a deep-sea submarine, which can carry four people in a depth of up to 200 meters. There is also a speedboat which can be booked for trips up to 37 knots (68 km / h).

Dream Cruises is a subsidiary of the Malaysian Genting Group which controls Star Cruises in Hong Kong and holds a significant stake in Norwegian Cruise Line. Some time ago, Genting also took over the MV WERFTEN Wismar GmbH to build cruise ships for their own needs, regardless of the heavily utilized European shipyards. The newly constructed cruise ship has 151,300 gross tons, is 335 meters long and 39.70 meters wide with a maximum speed of 23 knots ship. Guest cabins are 75% with ocean view, most of the cabins are designed as balcony cabins.

World Dream offers 35 restaurants and bars with a catering concept tailored specifically to the Asian market. Modern, interactive communication systems and extensive stage technology are used in theater and virtual reality applications. Climbing parks, a casino, and other outdoor activities make the destinations a casual side-issue.
