Contestants of the popular TV cooking competition ‘MasterChef’ and ‘MasterChef Junior’ will set sail to the high seas for the second-ever MasterChef cruise.
Holland America Line cruise ship Nieuw Amsterdam on Nov. 6, 2016 will host the MasterChef cruise setting sail from Fort Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and Holland America’s private island Half Moon Cay.
Onboard MasterChef Cruise will be the 10-year-old Addison Smith, the newest 'MasterChef Junior' winner from Illinois and the 13-year-old semi-finalist Zac.
They will join previously announced contestants Sean Le from ‘MasterChef Junior’ season two, ‘MasterChef’ season four winner Luca Manfe, and Elizabeth Cauvel season five runner-up.
MasterChef Cruise On-board activities will include:
- MasterChef Junior All-Stars Grilled Cheese Showdown: The best young home cooks add their own flair to this classic dish.
- Meet-and-Greet: Meet MasterChef and MasterChef Juniors all-stars.
- Mystery Box Challenge: Watch a live Mystery Box challenge as MasterChef all-stars compete to create a dish of their choice.
- All-Stars Finale Cook-Off: MasterChef and MasterChef Junior all-stars battle to become the next MasterChef cruise champion.
