The company Blue Star Line have released new renderings of the interior design of their fully functioning replica of Titanic. There is no ship in the world more famous as the Titanic, because of its amazing interior and unfortunate history, named ' "unsinkable", as it was christened at the maiden voyage.
What had been only a fantasy for nostalgic was announced to be a reality by Clive Palmer, an Australian billionaire specializing in the mining industry. He announced in 2013 with great fanfare the launch of the new Titanic in late 2016 with the Blue Star line. Now Palmer has rescheduled the arrival of Titanic for 2018
The idea seemed to be yet another eccentricity of a rich, except that the spokesman of the same Palmer announced that the project is still alive and well, only shifted two years forward
The ship will be a faithful replica of the original in full details, except for the security measures, appropriate to modern standards. As it was for the Titanic there will be first, second and third class, 840 cabins can accommodate 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members. The restaurants, the dining rooms and public areas will be reproduced and the staff will be dressed as the early twentieth century.
Before planning to book a trip on Titanic, think again. News media is reporting that some interested passengers are willing to pay up to $1 million for a ticket on the maiden voyage.
Titanic maiden voyage will won't take place from Southampton to New York. Instead, it will set sail from Jiangsu, in Eastern China, to Dubai.
