Cunard Reports Busiest Booking Day

Submitted by kgnadmin on

Cunard announced that the first day of booking for the new ocean liner Queen Anne is the busiest day of booking in a decade.

The first sailing, a seven-night voyage from Southampton departing on January 4, 2024, sold out, and demand for Princess & Queens Suites proved particularly high in each of the 10 published new voyages.

"Since we began revealing the details of our fourth ship, the reaction from guests and travel advisers to Queen Anne has been phenomenal," said Cunard Matt Gleaves, vice president of commercial affairs for North America and Australia.

"The first day of sales shows the incredible strength of demand for our new boat and the Cunard brand is at a record level.”

The three busiest reservation periods for Cunard in the last decade have occurred since March 2021, with the launch of shipping in the UK when the brand returned to use, the launch of the 2023 summer program, and now the launch of Queen Anne’s first program.

There are currently three Cunard ships, Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria and a fourth ship, Queen Anne, will be entering service in early 2024. This investment is part of the company's ambitious plans for the future of Cunard globally and will be the first time since 1999 that Cunard will have four ships in simultaneous service.
