Carnival Cruise Line has appointed the 7’1″ former NBA Star, Shaquille O'Neal as the company’s new CFO. The news was announced by Shaq on TNT inside the NBA broadcast that he has been given an exciting new role as Carnival's newly appointed CFO. After the announcement an exciting video was released that features Shaq and Carnival President Christine Duffy but omits one minor detail, Shaq will not be a conventional CFO (Chief Financial Officer), instead his actual position will be “Chief Fun Officer”. 

There is no better candidate for the job than Shaq. With his fun and outgoing personality he will be in promos and commercials for Carnival in the newest brand campaign named “Choose Fun”. To prepare, for his role he spent some time in Carnival Headquarters and onboard the Carnival Vista where he had lots of fun.

He will serve as a great partner ensuring everyone knows all about our one-of-a-kind brand of fun,” said Duffy.  “We’re confident that his embodiment of our brand values will inspire America to Choose Fun and discover the authentic, participatory and social atmosphere that Carnival offers.”
