Captain Alexander Orendt Promoted to Command Mein Schiff 3

Alexander Orendt has been promoted to captain and has taken command of the cruise ship Mein Schiff 3, TUI Cruises announced today.

 

Orendt previously served as Staff Captain, gaining extensive leadership experience on board before stepping into the top position. His promotion reflects years of dedication and progression within TUI Cruises, where he built a strong reputation for professionalism and seamanship.

 

Mein Schiff 3, entered service in 2014 and can accommodate around 2,500 passengers, supported by a crew of approximately 1,000. The ship is part of the cruise line’s Blue Motion Class and remains an important vessel in the company’s fleet serving the German cruise market. 

Captain Orendt’s promotion highlights TUI Cruises’ continued focus on developing leadership from within its ranks. Crew members and guests alike can look forward to his leadership as Mein Schiff 3 continues its global itineraries.
