Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas is the latest cruise ship to get the crew vaccinated at the port of Limassol, Cyprus. According to information provided by a fellow crew member, vaccination will start today (May 22) and will be completed by tomorrow (May 23). The crew will get their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine as a crucial step to resume cruise operation scheduled in the UK, this summer. Crew members were informed that they will receive the vaccine on board Anthem of the Seas because some of them are still in mandatory quarantine.
Anthem of the Seas will offer cruises this summer from the UK exclusively to UK residents. Starting July 7, Anthem of the Seas will set sail from her homeport Southampton. The ship will offer three and four-night Ocean ¬Getaways in July with five to eight-night British Isles itineraries from July 15. Anthem of the Seas will sail UK itineraries from July to October 2021, with fully vaccinated UK residents above the age of 18, two weeks post their full vaccination. Guests under the age of 18 will need to show a negative test result.
