Ambassador Cruise Line to Show All FIFA World Cup 2026 Matches

Ambassador Cruise Line has confirmed it will screen every FIFA World Cup 2026 match this summer across its fleet. The UK-based cruise line has secured broadcasting rights through IMG, allowing full tournament coverage on Sport 24 Special Event channels onboard Ambience and Ambition.

The tournament, set to take place across Canada, Mexico, and the United States from June 11 to July 19, will see both England and Scotland competing, adding extra excitement for British guests sailing during the event.

In addition to live broadcasts, selected matches will be shown in public venues across the ships, accompanied by themed activities and events designed to bring a lively matchday atmosphere onboard.

Bob McGowan, Chief Experience Officer at Ambassador Cruise Line, said entertainment remains a central part of the onboard experience.

“The FIFA World Cup 2026 is one of those rare global events that brings people together across generations. By showing every match on Ambience and Ambition, our guests can enjoy their cruise without missing out on the moments that matter most,” he said.

IMG’s Commercial Director Kate Garden added that the partnership will help recreate the energy of the tournament at sea, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy matches from a variety of settings across the ships—from lounges and open decks to private cabins.

Ambassador joins a growing list of cruise lines offering full World Cup coverage at sea, including Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and MSC Cruises.

With multiple ships across the industry turning into floating fan zones, passengers sailing this summer can expect a mix of cruising and football, as the excitement of the world’s biggest sporting event reaches the high seas.
