MSC Cruises Implements Controversial New Laundry Policy for Crew Members

MSC Cruises has introduced a stringent new laundry policy for its crew members, significantly limiting their ability to wash personal items on board. Under the new guidelines, crew members are restricted to washing a maximum of ten personal items twice per week, with all laundry to be monitored and managed by designated crew laundry personnel.

Cunard introduced the Queen Anne’s HR Opening Team as they prepare for the ship's inaugural voyage. This team is dedicated to supporting the crew in launching Queen Anne into service, ensuring the delivery of Cunard's renowned White Star Service to guests. The HR Team are the first full team working at Queen Anne’s shipyard in Venice.

The legendary Seabourn Odyssey is on her final Alaska voyage before embarking on a new chapter under Mitsui Ocean Cruises in Japan. Before that, the ship will head to dry dock in Vancouver, where she will undergo refurbishment to meet the requirements of the Japanese cruise line and be renamed Mitsui Ocean Fuji.

How One Bartender Lost His Job on a Cruise Ship After Alleged False Accusations

Crew Center recently received a letter from a former crew member who wanted to share his side of the story about a situation that ended with him losing his job. 
This crew member worked as a bartender on the cruise ship MSC Seaside, and thought of his team as family. They joked around, supported each other, and made their work environment feel like home. He worked closely with a waitress from the Philippines, and for two months, they had a good working relationship filled with jokes and mutual respect.
