Bitcoin millionaires set sail on exclusive cruise on Mariner of the Seas

On Monday, a group of 600 cryptocurrency fans set sail onboard Mariner of the Seas for a 4 Night Penang & Phuket cruise departing from Singapore. The group consisted largely of young men, many of whom have become super rich as the price for bitcoins and other digital tokens skyrocketed in 2017.

Prosecutor requests 22 years' sentence for the killer of Royal Caribbean crew member

The Public Prosecutor's Office in charge of the islands of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba, requested 22 years in prison for the killer of the Royal Caribbean crew member Adriana Morales de Florencio. Public Prosecutor has proved that Raysley S. is the executor of the murder of the 23-year-old woman from Puebla (Mexico) that happen in April, 2017 on the island of Bonaire.

Anthem of the Seas barely passes USPH inspection

The cruise ship Anthem of the Seas barely passed the recent USPH Inspection. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Inspectors boarded the vessel on January 2, at Port Canaveral, Florida, and found several violations. The ship was eventually given 86 points which is only one point of failing the inspection (an 85 or lower score on the CDC's 100-point inspection scale is considered failing grade).

Victims of the deadly tour bus crash in Mexico identified

A cruise holiday turned into a nightmare when a tour bus lost control and flipped over on a highway in Mexico on Tuesday. The accident caused the deaths of 13 people who arrived in Costa Maya on the cruise ships Serenade of the Sea and Celebrity Equinox. Another 18 passengers were injured. Eight Americans, two Swedes, a Canadian and a Mexican tour guide died as a result of the bus crash,

A deadly bus accident killed eleven cruise ship passengers and injured twenty more early morning today, 19 December, on a highway in the state of Quintana Roo. According to reports by the local media, the tragic accident happened after the tour bus lost control and flipped over on a highway in Mexico close to the Caribbean resort city of Cancun.

Why aren’t there psychologists on board cruise ships?

As a former crewmember that has worked for several cruise lines, I can relate to the constant high stress situations that crewmembers must endure on a daily basis. There are so many foreseeable challenges that crewmembers must face when starting a life at sea on the other side of the planet, but there are also some unforeseen ones that can really disrupt what could’ve been a great contract.
